HVAC Repair in Camden, SC

Camden is the oldest inland city in South Carolina, and its historic district is full of houses that predate central air by a century or more. Retrofitting those homes is its own discipline. There is often no space for conventional ductwork behind plaster and lath, so the solutions tend to be high-velocity small-duct systems, ducted mini-splits tucked into closets, or multiple small zones rather than one central unit - and a contractor who works mostly on suburban split systems is not automatically the right person for that equipment. Outdoor unit placement can also be constrained on a property in a historic district. If your system is a retrofit into an older home, mention the equipment type and where it sits when you call; it determines who should come out.
